There are groups and teams everywhere— in organizations, departments, boards, committees, projects, government, families, etc.  And the quality of life in those groups depends on the quality of the relating and communicating that’s going on among the group members.  It’s for this reason that group and team coaching has grown in popularity over the past decade.

• Focuses on group dynamics— how a group forms, norms, storms, and performs.
• How groups have to negotiate the twin-demands of group nourishing and group tasking.
• How groups negotiate the trust spiral to move from a group of individuals to a work group and then to a team.
• How groups handle conflict, deal with team dysfunctions, challenge group members, etc.
• Participants get lots of hands-on experiential training by being put into groups more than a dozen times.

• Adds 2-additional days for Assessment.
• Prerequisite for setting for assessment is having the ACMC credentials and completing the first 3-days.
• Assessment involves coaching a group of 6 people for 45 minutes.
• A task will be given to the coach and people will be “planted” in the group to challenge the coach. In addition to those sitting for assessment are those watching to learn— they will sometimes be asked to be “the group” and get to enter into the psycho-drama on stage as a coach is attempting to handle them in a project.
• Participants will also be there to see how the coaching goes, what works, what does not, and to ask lots of questions about the processes, kinds of group coaching forms, how to deal with problems, etc.
